About Me
, nHello, my name is Cinda. I am a wife and mother to 4 handsome little boys. As a young girl I always wanted to be a mother and it has been everything I could have imagined and so much more! Becoming a mother has affected every aspect of my life in such a positive way.
After graduating high school and completing one year of college, I pursued one of my dream of becoming a cosmetologist. I love the ability it gives me to be creative and artistic. I absolutely love doing hair. With the birth of my first son I discovered a burning passion for pregnancy and childbirth. I found new confidence and strength in myself through my births which has driven me to where I am today as a doula and student midwife. I don't believe there is a more rewarding or sacred time in a woman's life than when she gives birth and becomes a mother. My desire and hope is to help other woman feel empowered and confident while creating their own cherished birth experience. I studied as a student midwife with the great team at Tooele Midwifery with Amy Patel as the senior midwife and owner of the practice. I completed 2 years of the program, and after the birth of my last son I decided to take an extended maternity leave from Midwifery. I look forward to being able to complete my midwifery training once my boys are a little older. I completed my birth doula training with Kristi Ridd-Young through the Midwives College of Utah in August 2015. My postpartum doula training was with Kristy Huber, also through the Midwives College of Utah, in April 2016. |
